I'm fanatic about keeping my Infiniti 2008 35X looking like new. The smallest abrasion bothers me a lot. So, you can imagine my distress level when I sideswiped some downed tree branches leaving a three foot horizontal scratch on the passenger door. Though the scratch didn't expose the metal, it still had texture when I ran my hand over it and I was convinced that a trip to the body shop was in my car's future. I had a set of the Quixx scratch remover that I had purchased to take care of a light abrasion on my front bumper. It worked. Though I had no hope of success, I decided to try the Quixx system on the monster scratch. To my utter surprise (and delight) it was completely eradicated. No one looking at that passenger door could have guessed that it had been violated. This stuff really WORKS!

My wife's Rav4 had a small X type scratch in the left front fender. It was about 2x4 inches in size, and looked like it was probably caused by someone leaning against the car (not big enough or deep enough to be vindictive, but that is a possibility too). It was deep enough that the scratch appeared white against the red of the paint.

Without experience it was a bit hard to tell from the instructions how to treat this particular scratch, so I started with the instructions for a moderately severe, but not most severe scratch and went conservatively. To get acceptable results I had to repeat the entire process twice, but the end result is very good. If you look for it you can still see the scratch, but it no longer stands out. I have now washed the car twice since the fix, and the results do not seem to be diminishing. Overall I'm very satisfied, and will probably try the product again later on some more minor scratches (e.g. near the door handles, etc.) -- Works Surprisingly Well!

This product was as easy to use as they come. The directions are super clear and even have pictures. They leave nothing up subjectivity. You'll need some things though outside of the package. If the scratch you're repairing is a chip int he paint you will need the touch up paint. It will not fix that type of damage. You'll also need a rag and some water. My best recommendation is to read the entire instructions once through so you can evaluate the severity of the scratch as well as the materials needed.

As far as the scratch on my car it almost completely eliminated it. Its not completely gone and neither will yours be unless it is extremely minimal. It however made the scratch almost impossible to see unless you focused yourself on finding it. Thats good enough for me. If it isn't for you then go get your professionally done. -- Easy to use
